RF-4C 66-0818 of the 11th TRS at Udorn, RTAFB - Dec 22,1966.  66-0818 shot down Jan 16, 1967 near Kep Airfield NVN.

Capt Robert J. Welch - Pilot and 1Lt. Michael S. Kerr -Navigator  were shot down approximately 35 mile northwest of Hanoi. 

Lt. Kerr survived the crash and was captured and released at the end of the war.  Capt Welch was listed as Missing in Action.
